Our St. John powerboat “Wahoo Wa'” is a 32FS Regulator with Twin Yamaha 250s. It  is 32ft long and has forward-facing, cushioned seating and  provides a comfortable, stable, usually dry  ride from rock to rock. Our Powerboat has plenty of space and extras like colored exterior lights, sound system with iphone connector, GPS, chart plotter etc.

We have Coast Guard approved and up to date safety gear: life jackets (adult and children), 2 VHF radios, field medical kit etc. to keep you and your loved ones safe. A five step ladder provides easy access in and out of the water.

It is moored in Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI in front of the Grande Bay Resort.

We do have a permit for the National Park and can take you from Cruz Bay St. John to anywhere in the BVI or USVI on a captained charter. Most popular destinations for day trips include, but are not limited to Jost van Dyke, Tortola, Norman Island / Willy T., Caves / Indians, Virgin Gorda, Cooper Island. We also do full day and half day trips around St. John (USVI waters only, no passport required) and sunset cruises. If you book our boat for a day or half a day it will be a private charter by default, that means only you / your family / friends. We do occasionally also offer shared trips for couples and singles who do not want to book the full boat. Should you wish to stay somewhere overnight (e.g. Anegada or Virgin Gorda) that is possible too, we will charge the destination price for day 1, 100$ for the night and 500$ for day 2.

We have 2 large coolboxes so we can store your lunch packs and drinks (we provide water and ice). We can also stow away items that cannot get wet in the head. We have a USB charger to charge your phone or camera. Our full day trips normally start at the National Park dock at 9:00AM and end there as well. Other start and end points are possible, if you come to the USVI on a cruise ship, we can for example pick you up at American Yacht Harbour Fuel Dock for 50$. For other pickup and drop off points, please check with your resort manager. Some resorts only allow their own boats and charger astronomical fees for charter boats that pick up or drop off guests.

Pricing Private Charter

All our prices are including captain, fuel, water and ice. The only extra you have to pay is for the BVI customs and mooring fees. They change based on location and weekday but it is safe to plan with around 30-40$ per head.

Our St. John Charter Boat Photogallery

Here are some photos of our charter boat. We would love to take you out on a charter trip! Disclaimer: While all the photos on the website and facebook page are actual photos of the our boat the top 4 photos in this gallery are manufacturer photos of a new boat, our will obviously have some wear and tear. The boat has small head (=toilet) for emergencies only. Boat toilets are fickle and they cannot handle toilet paper, sanitary napkins or towels, they will get backed up and the pump will break. Please talk to the captain if you need to use bathroom and he will see if there is a bar nearby where he can stop or give instructions on how to use toilet. He might also need to slow the boat down or wait for calmer seas to ensure it is safe to use the bathroom (just like when the “fasten seatbelt signs are on in a plane – there will be times where it is not safe to use the bathroom).
